- This job is a member of the Information Technology team within
the Information Technology Division.
- Responsible for providing the technical direction and
leadership in the architecture, design, development and deployment
of solutions within our customer base.What you'll do
- Leads the design and development efforts for our systems
integration projects.
- Analyzes business data requirements in order to create
accurate, extensible, flexible logical data models, using modeling
tools.
- Closely collaborates with delivery team, anticipates and acts
upon issues that arise, provides alternative approaches, optimal
solutions, and continuously improves performance of
applications.
- Creates and helps promote patterns/techniques to foster DevOps
adoption.
- Collaborates with enterprise teams to modernize technology
stack and align with enterprise goals.
- Maintains technical specifications.All you'll need for
successMinimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related
technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
- 5 years of application systems design experience.
- 2 years architectural and design experience.Preferred
Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
- 10 years of application systems design experience.
- 5 years architectural/design experience, or technical/team
leadership experience.
- Airline industry experience.Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Hands-on experience in systems development in a variety of
computing architectures and environments, with a deep understanding
of architectural concepts, issues, and trends.
- Hands-on experience with end-to-end cloud migration of legacy
applications.
- Understanding of Networking concepts.
- Knowledge of secure application development practices to comply
with PCI and Data Privacy standards.
- Knowledge of containers and container orchestration.
- Knowledge of systems integration practices and understanding of
Service Oriented Architecture principles, practices, and related
technologies, such as XML, SOAP, REST, and JSON.
- Proficiency and demonstrated experience in the following
technologies:
- .NET/J2EE environment, Microsoft technology, UNIX, Linux, MQ
Series, UML.
- n-tiered web architecture, relational databases, web
development.
- HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and other front-end development
technologies.
- Oracle/SQL Server.
- Expertise in Disaster recovery and business continuity
planning.
- Thorough understanding of software development life cycles,
development and technology tools, testing methodologies, and
requirements gathering.
- Ability to understand and analyze business data requirements in
order to create accurate, extensible, flexible logical data models
using modeling tools.
- Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques and
principles.
- Experience in Agile methodologies.
- Experience in DevOps Toolchain technologies.
- Knowledge of NOSQL databases.
- Experience with Event Driven Architecture and Big Data
Development.
- Ability to manage multiple efforts concurrently with the skills
to keep complex initiatives moving forward quickly while exercising
