Compensation: 115k- 140k + Equity/Stock

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain software applications using MongoDB, Java, and Node.js.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Software Engineer with strong proficiency in MongoDB, Java, and Node.js.
Solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in accounting or familiarity with accounting/finance principles.
Experience with C# and connecting with legacy desktop applications such as QuickBooks Desktop, Lacerte, CCH Axcess, or Go Systems.

Bonus Skills:

Knowledge of additional programming languages and frameworks.
Experience with cloud services and infrastructure.
Familiarity with Agile development practices.
