Director, Analytics drives the strategy for Airport and Contact
Center operations, which are critical functions for American
Airlines. This role is responsible for continuously identifying and
implementing process improvements, enhancing performance and
efficiency, and leading the Airport Analytics team by providing
leadership and growth opportunities.What you'll doAs noted above,

- Lead a team of managers and analysts, delivering high-impact
analytical support to Airport and Contact Center
organizations.
- Inspire, coach, and develop team members, fostering growth,
engagement, and succession planning within the span of care.
- Provide strategic insights and analytical content for
leadership presentations, both internal and external.
- Shape the long-term vision for Airport and Contact Center
reporting and data strategy.
- Collaborate with business leaders at all levels to identify key
data and reporting needs that empower effective
decision-making.
- Leverage advanced analytics to optimize processes and elevate
operational performance.
- Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making across the
organization.
- Guide analytics priorities for cross-functional reporting teams
(e.g., OP&P and Commercial) supporting Airport and Contact
Center operations.
- Design and implement employee-level dashboards highlighting
metrics that directly influence customer experience (CX) and
operational success.All you'll need for successMinimum
Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience--- Bachelor's
degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent experience;
Advanced Degree preferred--- 7 years of leadership experience,
including leading teams, managers, and individual contributors--- 3
years of leadership experience leading analytics/reporting
teamsSkills, Licenses & Certifications
- Proven ability to drive results as an action-oriented leader,
engaging diverse workgroups with ease.
- Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and negotiation
skills to influence stakeholders effectively.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee
multiple complex projects, meet tight deadlines, and maintain
meticulous attention to detail.
- Advanced problem-solving, critical thinking, and strategic
decision-making abilities, with a focus on data-centric
outcomes.
- Demonstrated success in identifying improvement opportunities
and executing strategic initiatives under time pressure.
- Skilled at building and nurturing relationships across all
organizational levels, both internally and externally.
- Adept at managing group dynamics and resolving interpersonal
conflicts with strong mentoring capabilities.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of
simplifying complex topics for diverse audiences, both verbally and
in writing.
