Job Description:

General Manager - Marine TerminalWe are recruiting for an experienced marine terminal General Manager. Ideally you'll have dry bulk and break bulk experience. Experience with scrap metal is a plus.Summary of Responsibilities:

• Lead the day to day operations and business activities
• Manage and ensure compliance with corporate goals and policies
• Lead and promote an environmentally friendly and safe culture
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA, USCG, EPA, and other regulatory bodies
• Manage all processing and material handling activities
• Optimize cargo handling and storage activities
• Actively manage activities with a goal to improve the P&L
• Responsible for all aspects of the facility's operations and personnelQualifications:
• University degree in relevant field
• 10+ years of experience in operations management
• Experience with scrap and pig iron operations is a plus
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Excellent problem solving skills - ability to think on your feet
• Ability to make decisions and implement plans
