As an Industrial Sales Representative specializing in capital
equipment, you will be responsible for driving sales and developing
long-term relationships with new and existing industrial clients.
Your role will include identifying business opportunities,
understanding client needs, and providing tailored solutions
through the sale of capital equipment and related services. You
will serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring
excellent customer service while achieving sales targets and
contributing to company growth. Our client is a leader in Surface
Finishing, Mass Finishing, Shot Blasting, Vibratory Finishing, Shot
Peening, and Blast market.

Key Performance Objectives: What does success in the job look
like?
Revenue generation of $2 million
20+ Customer visits per month
Learning and becoming vested in products & services of the
company's product lines.
Other Responsibilities:
Actively prospect and generate new business leads within the
industrial sector, focusing on capital equipment sales.
Utilize a "hunter" mentality to identify, target, and acquire new
clients while expanding relationships with existing customers.
Develop and maintain a solid pipeline of potential clients,
ensuring conversion into long-term partnerships.
Understand the specific needs and requirements of clients related
to capital equipment, offering tailored solutions that maximize
their operational efficiency.
Provide expert recommendations on capital equipment and related
services that align with client goals.
Prepare customized quotes, proposals, and presentations that
demonstrate the value, ROI, and technical capabilities of the
compnay's capital equipment.
Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and
innovations in capital equipment, as well as competitor
offerings.
Offer in-depth product knowledge and technical specifications
during customer meetings, demonstrations, and follow-up
discussions.
Serve as a go-to expert for clients regarding the capabilities,
installation, and maintenance of capital equipment.
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals focused
on capital equipment sales.
Track sales performance, update the CRM system, and provide regular
reports to management on pipeline status, progress, and market
trends.
Adapt quickly to changing market conditions to ensure that sales
targets are consistently achieved.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and service issues related to
capital equipment, ensuring timely resolution.
Provide exceptional post-sales support, managing relationships to
maximize customer retention and satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal teams, including service and logistics,
to ensure efficient order fulfillment and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in industrial sales, particularly with capital
equipment, with at least 3-5 years in a similar role like Sales
Engineer, Product Manager, Application Engineer, Application Sales
Engineer, or Project Manager.
Strong understanding of capital equipment, manufacturing processes,
and industrial applications in one of the following industries:
Pharmaceutical production equipment, Food processing equipment,
Cereal manufacturing equipment, Filtration / Fluid processing, Oil
and Gas / Refinery / Chemical production equipment, Custom
industrial machinery, Robotics/Custom Automation,
Forge/Foundry/Investment Casting, or Municipal wastewater
equipment
A self-starter who is highly motivated and focused on achieving
goals and exceeding sales targets.
Proactive and persistent in seeking out new business opportunities
and developing client relationships.
Comfortable using CRM software, digital tools, and other technology
platforms to manage leads, track sales activities, and communicate
effectively with clients.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with
clients and colleagues.
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability
to handle complex sales cycles.
Technical aptitude to understand capital equipment specifications,
installation, and service requirements.
Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and market
changes.
Willingness to travel locally and regionally to meet clients,
attend industry events, and participate in trade shows as
needed.
