Job Description

Eurofins Environment Radon Testing, a leader in radon test device manufacturing and analytical laboratory testing, is seeking to hire a full-time employee in the position of Manufacturing Technician. Radon gas is a naturally occurring radioactive gas which builds up to high concentrations in indoor environments and is the leading cause of lung cancer for nonsmokers. This position will support the manufacturing of testing devices and the laboratory's ability to complete analytical testing to issue lab results to our customers.

The Manufacturing Technician will operate equipment used to manufacture radon test kits. The position will also require that the technician spend a portion of their day operating the manufacturing equipment, and a portion of their day supporting other manufacturing operations, including assembly of product into retail packaging.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• The manufacturing technician will be assigned to operate equipment utilized in the manufacturing of the radon testing kits.
• In addition to the manufacturing aspect of this role, the technician will also support production and assist in assembly of the final product into retail packaging.
• The technician will produce target manufacturing goal established for each assigned shift.
• Quality is key in this position; the technician will ensure that quality meets requirements and specifications with each manufactured kit.
• The technician will need to manufacture products expeditiously to enable effective downstream operations.
• The technician will need to be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications
  
  Basic Minimum Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma
  • Ability to stand on feet for full 8 hour shift
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs on a repeated basis
  • Fluency in Spanish is required.
  • Organized and methodical.
  • Efficient and task focused.
  • Reliable and consistent. Additional Information
    
    Additional Information:
    • The hours for this position will be Monday - Friday, 6 am to 3 pm.
    • Later hours are available if desired. Pay Rate Range for this position is $18-20
      
      Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business section, and geographic location.
