excellent opportunity for a Program Consultant, Health Care
Quality. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, grant-funded
opportunity. Current funding will expire on August 3, 2027, with
the possibility of extension.The Program Consultant, Health Care
Quality will be responsible for implementing quality programs aimed
at improving care in patients with cardiovascular disease. This
role involves working with multiple sites to educate and motivate
improvements in treatment guidelines, clinical processes, and
practices.Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of quality improvement projects to help
healthcare providers treat cardiovascular disease in alignment with
the organization's guidelines.
- Develop and implement program strategies, serving as the main
point of contact for hospitals and clinics.
- Collaborate with clinicians to develop clinical decision
support tools and address barriers to guideline adoption.
- Communicate project progress with leadership and manage
cross-functional teams.
- Oversee project documentation, including managing budgets,
timelines, and reporting.Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2-5 years of related experience in healthcare or public
health.
- 4 years of experience in healthcare quality improvement and
program development.
- 3 years of project management experience.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with
proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and engage with volunteers.
- Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time.Preferred
Qualifications:
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
certification.
- Experience in the medical field, focusing on healthcare quality
or clinical settings.CompensationThe expected pay range will be
$65,000 to $85,000, commensurate with experience.BenefitsWe offer a
