This includes coordinating and scheduling the pick-up and delivery of loads in a timely and cost-effective way, as well as ensuring drivers provide excellent customer service and holding drivers accountable for operating in a safe manner and complying with company policies and state and federal regulations. This position reports to the Vice President of Fleet and Asset Management. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages daily operations and subordinate staff including supervisors, coordinators, dispatchers, and drivers.
• Accountable for interaction with internal/external customer on an ongoing basis.
• Responsible for appropriate staffing levels and quality of employees.
• Maximizes fleet efficiencies through proper planning and execution ensuring a safe working environment.
• Maximize profitability through operational excellence, asset utilization and cost controls.
• Facilitate, manage and support all internal and external reporting requirements including the compiling, maintaining, and filing of all reports, records, and other documents required for fleet services
• Represents Sinacola and the Fleet Asset Management team in a positive manner.
• Provides leadership to staff and seeks to further the growth and development of all employees.Qualifications and Skills:
  • 5+ years' experience in logistics and/or transportation
  • BA or BS Degree preferred
  • Construction Trucking experience preferred
  • Computer applications experience including MS Office strongly desiredBenefits:
