Production Supervisor - Cement/Mining Industry

Hours: First Shift (7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with overtime flexibility)
Salary: $90,000 - $95,000 + 10% Bonus

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee plant operations and production processes in the cement or mining industry. This leadership role ensures efficiency, safety, and productivity while managing a skilled workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of skilled employees
Oversee kiln repairs and plant operations
Ensure workplace safety and conduct monthly safety meetings
Maintain productivity and enforce policies as needed
Conduct performance reviews and recommend merit increases
Develop and implement training programs
Assist with field tasks during outages and cover shifts as necessary

Qualifications

Minimum of five years of experience as a Lead or Supervisor with direct reports in the cement or mining industry is a must.
Strong knowledge of cement or aggregate production
Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
Familiarity with MSHA standards and safety regulations
Proficiency with computer applications related to production management
Willingness to travel as needed
