Job Summary and Qualifications
  Our MRI Technologists perform quality diagnostic images. MRI Techs collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services. The commitment to service, safety and professionalism is critical to achieving the best experience for our patients.   What You Will Do In This Role:
  
  • You will be responsible for magnetic resonance assessments and reassessments, implementation of the patient's orders.
  • You will position and prepare patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed.
  • You will assist with transporting patients.
  • You will explain procedures to patients and addresses their concerns.
  • You will operate stationary equipment and/or portable equipment used in the Emergency Department, Operating Room and at the patient bedside.
    What Qualifications You Will Need:
    • Current License as an MRI Tech by ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) required.
    • Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
    • Must be graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
    • State Registered Radiologic Technician
    • Vocational School Graduate
    • Experience in performing all MRI procedures.
    • Two (2) years' experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.Medical City Arlington is a 435+ bed full-service hospital located in south Arlington.
