  The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of theionizingradiationin accordance withthe established professional and departmental standards.The CTTechnologistprovideshigh-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment.   What you will do in this role:
  
  • You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
  • You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
  • You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
  • You will release customers with proper post procedure instructions.
  • You will turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
  • You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
    What qualifications you will need:
    
    • Prefer Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or Prefer degree in Radiology Technology.
    • Must be Registered ARRT with RT(R)(CT) CT registration required
    • BCLS required upon hire.
    • Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
    • On Call Required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 45 minutes of call back.
    • Must be able to work rotating weekends and holidays.Medical City Weatherford is a 100+ bed acute-care hospital. We serve Parker County and surrounding communities.
