Position Summary:
The Certified Safety Professional (CSP) will be responsible for overseeing safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, and implementing risk management strategies to protect the workforce and facilities. This position requires an experienced professional who can drive a safety culture, mitigate hazards, and provide expert guidance on safety-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and enforce safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Monitor and ensure compliance with OSHA standards, federal, state, and local safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Lead investigations of safety incidents, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Provide safety training and education to employees, ensuring they understand and adhere to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety inspections, audits, and safety training.
Collaborate with management and other departments to promote a safety-focused culture.
Review and update safety procedures as needed based on changes in regulations or operational needs.
Stay current with the latest safety trends, technology, and industry regulations to advise leadership on best practices.

Qualifications:

Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation required.
Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, Environmental Health, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in safety management, in construction.
In-depth knowledge of OSHA standards and other safety regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to safety management.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and educate all levels of the workforce.
Ability to lead safety programs and work independently or as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
