Hours of Work :10 hrsDays Of Week :Mon-SunWork Shift :Job Description :Your Job:In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. Under the direction of the Supervisor of Noninvasive Cardiology, the Echo Tech I performs all echocardiograms to include 2D, M-Mode, Color Doppler, Pulse Wave Doppler, Continuous Wave Doppler, Transesophageal Echocardiogram, Stress Eco and other related examinations according to established standards and practices.Your Job Requirements:--- Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred--- High school diploma or equivalent--- A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the employee is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography, may be substituted for the ARDMS--- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required--- Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred--- Current Basic Life Support requiredYour Job Responsibilities:--- Communicate clearly and openly--- Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment--- Be accountable for your performance--- Always look for ways to improve the patient experience--- Take initiative for your professional growth--- Be engaged and eager to build a winning teamMethodist Charlton Medical Center is a 314-bed, full-service, acute care teaching hospital that serves Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, and Lancaster in southwestern Dallas County.
