Job Description:
Milliman, Global Corporate Services (GCS) is seeking a highly
skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our dynamic team.
The person in this role will design and implement scalable, secure,
and efficient data architecture solutions that support our
corporate data strategy and business processes across the firm.
This person will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define
and align data-related processes, ensuring that our Master Data
Management (MDM) framework and data governance principles are
applied effectively.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive data strategy tailored to
Milliman's corporate functions, as well as supporting businesses
across the firm.
- Establish and enforce data governance practices and data
quality standards.
- Align business processes with data management practices and
ensure compliance with industry regulations.Master Data Management
(MDM):
- Design and implement MDM solutions to ensure the accuracy,
consistency, and reliability of key data domains.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define master data
requirements, policies, and processes.
- Design robust data models and architectures to support MDM,
data integration, and data governance.
- Oversee the deployment of data solutions, ensuring seamless
integration across multiple systems and platforms.Collaboration &
Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with business teams and IT to understand data
requirements and effectively translate them into technical
solutions.
- Advise stakeholders on best practices for data alignment with
business processes and objectives.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for data
architecture, MDM frameworks, data flows, and related
processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in data-related processes, tools,
and standards.SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or
a related field.
- The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' experience
in data architecture, data management, or related roles.
- The ideal candidate must have proficiency in database
technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and ETL processes.
- The ideal candidate must have previous experience with
cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Must have working knowledge of MDM platforms and data
integration tools.
- Must have proven track record of designing and implementing MDM
solutions and data governance frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, and security
principles.
- Must have excellent communication and stakeholder management
skills.
- Must have the ability to work collaboratively in
cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving
abilities.SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:
- Experience in the insurance, risk management, or financial
services industries.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards
related to data privacy and security.LOCATION:

2025.COMPENSATION:
- The salary range for this role is $109,000 - $222,000,
depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited
to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills,
