Overview:The Make Ready Specialist is responsible for preparing
vacant apartments to meet market-ready conditions. This role
involves performing various non-technical maintenance tasks, such
as painting, drywall repair, caulking, and ensuring apartments are
move-in ready. The Make Ready Specialist also supports the overall
appearance and maintenance of the property.Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Operations:Prepare vacant apartments for market-ready
conditions in compliance with Steward + Helm's standards.Perform
non-technical maintenance tasks including exterior lighting
maintenance, ground equipment repair, preventative maintenance,
caulking, touch-up painting, pool maintenance, and lock
repairs.Maintain and clean grounds to ensure the property
presentation aligns with company standards.Respond promptly to
resident requests and escalate issues to the supervisor as
needed.Follow company procedures regarding the use of tools and
equipment.Complete all required logs, paperwork, and checklists
related to inventory tracking and hazardous chemicals.Adhere to
safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.Maintain
property curb appeal by regularly picking up grounds and ensuring
clean, well-kept exteriors.The job description is not an

ForEducation: High School Diploma or GED required.Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or a related
field.Skills: Strong technical abilities across maintenance trades
and a customer-first mindset. Commitment to promoting safety and
adhering to established safety protocols.Availability: Must be
flexible to work weekends, events, and on-call shifts.Physical
RequirementsAbility to lift/move up to 25 lbs.Must be able to
stand, walk, sit, and use tools regularly.Comfortable working in a
