Job Summary
The ideal candidate has excellent problem-solving and analytical
capabilities and enjoys managing multiple projects and
collaborating with multiple stakeholders. They can work well under
pressure, act with urgency, and quickly adjust to changing
priorities and time constraints. This role will be a central
resource for the account team and will be depended upon to
demonstrate ownership, good judgment, and follow through.
Essential Duties
--- Responsible for strategic management of people operations team
and resources. Streamline, develop, and find efficiencies,
particularly in the repetitive administrative processes handled by
this team, with the goal of optimizing operations through processes
and automations.
--- Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training
and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and
coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
--- Responsible for enhancing and developing ways to measure team
success and effectiveness through data and key performance
indicators (KPIs).
--- Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish
work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track
staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
--- Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex inquiries
and requests from internal partners.
--- Project manage short- and long-term projects; develop project
plans to achieve defined objectives and track progress. Provide
regular updates relative to project resources and milestones.
--- Partners with communications team to facilitate communication
of People Operations best practices, policies, procedures, and
initiatives. Ensure knowledge is shared effectively to implement
process improvements. Facilitates process improvements by engaging
appropriate resources in issue identification and resolution.
--- May act as system administrator for specialized software
utilized by the business group to support its operations. May
maintain systems by researching and resolving problems, maintaining
system integrity and security. May coordinate software/release
upgrades with IT. Prepares and provides training and reference
material to assist users.
--- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with
CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an
agreement.
--- Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline
integrates with others to achieve team and departmental
objectives.
--- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately
complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems
and processes.
Qualifications:
--- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant
experience.
--- Minimum of 3 years' experience managing a team of at least 5
people.
--- Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training,
development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and
rewarding performance and retention preferred.
--- Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and
difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle
problems.
--- Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality,
efficiency, and effectiveness of the job, discipline, and
department.
--- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples
include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
--- Extensive organizational and project management skills with a
strong inquisitive mindset.
--- Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures
such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related
calculations.
--- HR certification (PHR, SHRM) preferred.

Equal Pay Disclosure
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine
compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and
experience. The minimum salary for the People Operations - Team
Lead position is $80,000 annually [or $38.46 per hour] and the
maximum salary for the People Operations - Team Lead position is
$90,000 annually [or $43.27 per hour]. The compensation that is
offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's
skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will
also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's
applicable benefit program.
