As a Senior Landscape Designer with Lawns of Dallas, your creativity is showcased in the most captivating outdoor rooms in the metroplex. Key Responsibilities Engage in meaningful consultation with new and existing clients to understand the needs of their property and vision for the space Create detailed site plans, visual representations through CAD programs, and comprehensive estimates with contracts Liase with clients, vendors, and our Construction Team as you guide the entire lifecycle of the project from initial planning to final completion Requirements Bachelor's degree in Landscape Design (BS, Landscape Hort) or Landscape Architecture (BLA) with 5 years of experience in high-end residential work or a minimum of 10 years of high-end design and sales experience An artistic eye for the elements of design such as color theory, texture, balance, proportion, and more Ability to incorporate digital devices and platforms (i.e., tablets, iPhone, AutoCAD programs, CRM systems, Microsoft Suite) Horticultural knowledge of the ecological conditions in the Dallas area and their impacts on a proposed design Construction knowledge of the building methods and build-ability of hardscape elements included in a design Skills Creativity, curiosity, and confidence Self-motivation, ambition, and initiative-taking Active listening and verbal communication skills Critical thinking to identify solutions quickly and efficiently Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced and professional environment Effective sales skills to drive profitable relationships with new and future clients On-site surveying skills and knowledge of equipment used in landscape construction Compensation Package This phenomenal position comes with a competitive base salary and sales commission.
