Job Description:
Title: Registered Nurse, Operating Room (OR) Specialty: OR Job Type: Permanent Shift: 12 Hours, Nights Location: Dallas, TX Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by providing skilled nursing care.
- Prepare operating rooms for surgeries, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Scrub into surgical procedures and maintain a sterile field.
- Monitor patients throughout surgeries and intervene as necessary to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement individualised patient care plans.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients
undergoing surgical procedures. Requirements:
- Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing (required); BSN preferred.
- Current RN licensure is in Texas.
- Previous experience in the operating room is preferred but not required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
