We offer physical, occupational, speech-language and feeding
therapy, as well as augmentative and alternative communication.We
are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pediatric Occupational
Therapist to provide in-home therapy services. In this role, you
will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions to
support children in achieving developmental milestones, improving
daily living skills, and enhancing their overall quality of
life.Responsibilities:Provide quality service delivery through the
evaluation and testing of program participants and the development
of effective treatment plans for each participantAdminister
innovative treatment programs to participants and communicate
treatment needs to appropriate staff, providing re-evaluation and
programmatic changes as necessarySet up appropriate home exercise
programs for participants promptly and perform home evaluations as
neededMaintain timely and appropriate program participant
documentation including a report of servicesServe on rehabilitation
treatment team(s)Collaborate with physicians, staff,
professionals/paraprofessionals, consultants, families, and
community resources as needed to ensure the effectiveness of
occupational therapy programDirect and supervise assigned staff,
including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and
training; decide on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary
changes, discipline, terminations, and similar
actionsQualifications:Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Occupational
TherapyActive Occupational Therapy license (OT/L) in TexasOne year
experience in Allied Health Services preferredHeavy work: Exerting
up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of
force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to
move objectsExcellent communication skills with an ability to
establish trust and rapport quicklyExceptional attention to detail
