Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Hope Oncology North. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective nursing interventions.
• Develop and individualize patient care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient-centered care principles.
• Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
• Perform technical procedures and skills in oncology, including the administration of chemotherapy and other cancer treatments.
• Conduct Point of Care testing and report results as required.
• Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
• Prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines, ensuring the efficient delivery of patient care services.
• Participate in unit meetings and activities, contributing to the development and implementation of unit goals and objectives.Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program.
  • Current RN license or compact RN license to practice in Texas.
  • Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification.
  • Specialty certification in oncology preferred.Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience in oncology nursing, preferably in a clinic setting.
    • Bilingual in Spanish.
