Title: Vice President of Finance - Union SupplyRequisition #: 572228Location: Dallas, TX, US, 75261Job DescriptionThe Vice President of Finance will lead full oversight of Union Supply's financial operations, FP&A and investment strategy. This leader will focus heavily on the distribution and warehouse strategy to ensure operations deliver on financial expectations.The Vice President of Finance for Union Supply will partner with Finance and Operation leadership to guide and supervise the strategic financial direction of the line of business. This role will partner closely with Union Supply's President while engaging with the functional leadership team on a daily basis to ensure financial targets are met successfully. The role will have oversight of financial planning and analysis, operational finance, system integration strategy with parent company and investments to contribute to the profitable growth of the business. The role will be required to partner closely with Union Supply's accounting team for clean financial statements during month end. This role will require a strong presence in the Dallas Union Supply office.Job Responsibilities

• Establish financial targets within operations, warehouses, SG&A in partnership with VP of Finance
• Leads financial system integration / replacement efforts in coordination with parent company
• Coordinate and prepare the annual plan, which includes setting client-specific targets and meeting with President and remainder of leadership team to establish goals and targets
• Analyzes and compares monthly and quarterly financial results, metrics and key performance indicators against plan and other internal benchmarks, including guarantees, food, labor, working capital and cash flow analysis
• Prepares and reviews monthly and quarterly financial projections
• Prepares quarterly reports including the preparation and coordination of the quarterly Operating Review
• Prepares and presents periodic performance and financial reports to senior management
• Reviews and analyzes, from a financial perspective, sales and marketing and other internal company initiatives
• Develops financial modeling / pro formas to determine the economic feasibility of proposed projects or investments
• Directs the preparation of special purpose or ad hoc analysis as the need arises
• Supervise a team of a Senior Director, Regional Finance Manager and Unit Controller while partnering closely with the Accounting organizationQualifications
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible finance and accounting experience is required
  • Requires demonstrated experience at a leadership role in a finance or accounting capacity with a track record of delivering successful financial performance
  • Experience in warehouse and inventory management, distribution / manufacturing highly preferred
  • Prior experience leading and developing a staff
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting/finance
  • MBA strongly preferred
  • Requires excellent interpersonal and communications skills, sound judgment and ability to learn quickly while working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Ability to effectively use deliberate influence strategies to impact, shape, or re-direct the behaviors of others, without formal authority
  • Excellent communication skills at various levels of the organization
