Overview:

CBRE is committed to addressing climate change by leveraging our position as the world's largest manager of real assets. We are seeking a Senior Director to play a pivotal role in implementing a nearly $1B capital improvement program for a large healthcare system. This role will focus on developing and managing the program to ensure the client objectives (improved reliability, reduced maintenance cost, reduced energy consumption) are met, various stakeholders' views are incorporated, and ultimately the healthcare system undergoes a successful recapitalization of core assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage client relationships, including interfacing with key client executive stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Prepare client-facing memos and presentations and participate in client-facing QBRs/MBRs.
• Actively manage and build relationships with existing and new customers within the healthcare system.
• Source a long-term energy-as-a-service partnership on behalf of the client, overseeing vendor qualification, RFP development and RFP process.
• Oversee recapitalization project schedule, technical advice, and cost management.
• Oversee development of owner's opinion of probable cost for each major recapitalization project.
• Oversee reporting, communications, and change management functions.
• Prepare proposals and presentation materials for customers.
• Identify risks to project schedule/cost and work with owner to implement mitigations.
• Oversee long term measurement and verification of asset performance. Ensure accurate billing in line with measured performance and customer contract.
• Collaborate with other functional areas of CBRE.
• Keep abreast of structured financing opportunities.
• Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills to establish, sustain, and foster professional contacts to build, enhance, and connect networks for work purposes.
• Balance customer and business needs with a solid commercial mindset.
• Be a team player who works well across an organization and builds performance alliances through ongoing coaching and development.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Business Development, Finance, Engineering, and other departments to prepare for proposals and meetings with customers.
  
  Qualifications:
  
  
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering, finance, economics, or equivalent.
  • Master's degree in finance, commercial management, or business is preferred.
  • Possess an intimate knowledge of alternative financing structures, balance sheet treatment determinants and market participants.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in energy development, origination, and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure, prepare, negotiate, coordinate, and execute power sale agreements with internal and external advisors.
  • Thorough understanding of contract origination and commercial transaction structuring.
  • Knowledge of US energy markets.
  • Established network.
  • Excellent communication, strong negotiation, and organizational skills, commercial agility, with high attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

    CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Senior Director, Ops Managment position is $210,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Senior Director, Ops Management position is $225,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
