DescriptionThe Director, Global Accounts is responsible for driving
revenue growth and developing strategic sales initiatives within
the Mid-Atlantic market. This person will focus on building strong
relationships with association, corporate, and group clients,
ensuring Omni remains a preferred partner. Success is measured
through increased revenues from this market, improved account
revenue, market share, and overall sales effectiveness.This
position is remotely based. Preferred to reside in the Mid-Atlantic
territory, but not required.Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate business opportunities across the
Mid-Atlantic region.
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies that align with
Omni's brand vision and revenue goals.
- Foster and maintain strong partnerships with key accounts,
meeting planners, travel buyers, and decision makers.
- Use pricing strategies and financial business principles to
increase strategic market revenue growth.
- Develop and support the design of products, services, and
events that deliver unique customer value, and organize activities
and resources in a manner that maximizes productivity and
efficiency.
- Deploy technology (SalesForce) to maximize efficiency and sales
production results.
- Collaborate with peers on tradeshow and customer event
strategies to achieve maximum results.
- Work closely with property-level sales teams to maximize
revenue opportunities and enhance client experience.
- Serve as an ambassador for Omni Hotels & Resorts at industry
events and networking functions.
- Support the negotiation of the best possible contract terms and
conditions that satisfy customer (internal and external)
requirements.
- Review and evaluate account deployment, forecast account
production, and analysis.Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality sales, preferably in the
Mid-Atlantic market.
- Strong understanding of association and corporate group
strategies.
- Seeks input and opinions from all relevant parties. Secures all
facts prior to making decisions.
- Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and
presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a
fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel within the region and beyond as
needed.
- 5+ years of hotel sales experience.
- Global Sales or National Sales Experience preferred.
- Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, ZoomInfo, Knowland
reporting, and Salesforce database tool.
- Has worked remotely previously and been successful.
- Available for travel when needed.Physical Requirements
- The ability to sit and utilize telephone/computer for an
