  • Directs all efforts related to the efficient utilization of flight Crewmembers by Crew Scheduling and Payroll. Directs the development and administration of automated systems and programs used by Scheduling, Payroll and Flight Crewmembers. Works directly with SWAPA representatives to address issues. Serves as a Scheduling and Payroll expert in all contract negotiations. Responsible for all policies and procedures as it pertains to Flight Ops Crew Scheduling and Payroll.Additional Details

      • Cultivate, support and promote an organizational culture that enables high performance, high morale, integrity and Teamwork

      • Lead, support, and influence the achievement of the mission, objectives and key results of the department and organization
      • Represent Crew Scheduling priorities in key, strategic discussions with stakeholders, including Ops Strategy and Performance, FP&A, Technology, and other Operational groups
      • Maintain financial control and accountability on capital and operating expenses for all assigned areas of responsibility while maintaining consistent quality to meet business objectives
      • Manage, develop and coach direct reports and other Leaders to ensure Crew Scheduling objectives and goals are achieved
      • Provide thought Leadership on Crew Scheduling initiatives that drive operational excellence and elevate the Crew and Crew Scheduler experience
      • Foster creative ideas and new approaches, and an environment of continuous improvement while promoting Change Management through communication and Change planning
      • Identify solutions for complex problems and drive alignment across multiple departments
      • Drive and manage Crew Scheduling performance and results
      • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's LeaderKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
        • Advanced knowledge of business acumen including understanding operational strategy and Crew Scheduling's effect on a multi-network operation
        • Ability to utilize functional and technical skills to drive performance and produce metric improvement results
        • Ability to effectively lead others to accomplish goals/objectives, and coach, mentor and develop Team members
        • Ability to prioritize problems and solutions at a department/enterprise level and provide effective follow-up and communication when problems occur
        • Ability to identify complex problems and develop, evaluate and implement strategic solutions

          • Required: High School Diploma or GEDExperience
            • Demonstrated experience in directly or indirectly leading team(s)
              • Leading large-scale projects and managing business decisions

                  • Ability to perform work duties from limited space work station/desk/office area for extended periods of time

                    • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines

                      • Competitive market salary from $180,350 per year to $200,400 per year* depending on qualifications and experience.
