technically skilled and experienced Director of Network Security
Services to lead, modernize and automate network security. This is
a dual role where the leader will be the service owner and the
engineering leader. As the leader, you will have direct
responsibility for all network security services and its lifecycle.
The role requires deep experience in product management and
technical expertise in network security technologies with a strong
product and engineering mindset.Our Impact:

and operating network security services enterprise wide.
- We run and improve network security services and platforms,
collaborate with teams and leadership within IT and with business
partners to advance our technical capabilities and provide network
security solutions that drive business results.Your Impact:
- Directly manage a team of engineers while ensuring meeting the
requirements of the product owner.
- Product Leadership:
- Build a network security services' product vision and be
capable of blending the needs from enterprise wide technical &
business groups into a product road map.
- Lead the creation of network security services and the
consumption of those services.
- Monitor and improve the delivery and operations of the
services.
- Technical Leadership and Engineering Management:
- Lead, design and collaborate with architecture teams to align
with network security services architecture standards.
- Lead a team of network security engineers focused on delivering
functional blueprints based on patterns approved by and
collaborated with Infrastructure Architects.
- Lead development of network security workflows and automate
them.
- Manage deliverables to meet expected deadlines.
- Mentor Engineers to ensure engagement and advancement of the
overall Team.
- Build self-service capabilities for the portfolio of
services.
- Develop best practices for engineering and deploying network
security services.
- Create and maintain a process and automation library.
- Always start from a view of automating as much of the overall
process as possible.
- On a continuous basis review tasks, increase efficiency, and
mark tasks for automation/transfer to delivery team.
- Utilize and drive project milestones through Jira to ensure
clear communication/expectations with leadership and
stakeholders.
- Engineering-Driven Compliance & Best Practices:
- Ensure solutions align with regulatory and compliance
requirements - specifically NIST, while maintaining scalability to
meet evolving business needs.
- Engineer solutions with the understanding that FM is a highly
regulated firm which requires control validation by non-technical
team members.
- Utilize a problem-solving approach to design solutions that not
only address immediate risks but also future-proof network defenses
against emerging threats.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with IT, Operations, End User Support, and software
engineering teams to integrate security into every layer while
keeping user experience as a key function of the solution.
- Work closely with senior leadership on the selection, design
and delivery blueprint of new network security technologies and
tools to address the evolving threat landscape.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT, Advanced degree
preferred.
- Technical master's degree and/or an MBA is preferred.
- 12-15+ years of overall experience.
- 5+ years of relevant large-scale enterprise transformation
experience related to network security modernization is
required.
- 5+ years of experience in any of Cloud and SaaS
technologies.
- Experience working directly with engineers to define and plan
new features for consumption.
- Familiarity with various network security technologies, such as
firewalls, automation frameworks, Internet proxy, and Web
Application Firewalls.
- Experience with Python, Ansible and AlgoSec.
- Experience in building self-service portals and managing a
service catalog.
- Prior experience in the primary or secondary mortgage industry
is desirable.
- Deep knowledge of various enterprise-level platforms widely
used in the industry.Keys to Success in this Role:

translating technology problems/solutions to business

an annualized market-based salary range of $190,000 - $286,000 and
is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The
final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is
dependent on various factors including but not limited to the
responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal
pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
