Messaging Platform Engineer

Primary Location: Dallas, Texas

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Messaging Platform Engineer for our premier client in Dallas, Texas.

Education and Experience - 2+ years of hands-on experience with Messaging/Asynchronous technologies (RabbitMQ & Kafka).
2+ years of experience with AWS (AWS SNS/SQS, building/maintaining clusters, etc.).
2+ years of experience with/and documenting APIs such as AsyncAPI & REST.
Hands on Experience with full CI/CD stacks and tools like Docker & Kubernetes.
Experience maintaining platform infrastructure, code repositories, and documentation (background in Infra/Cloud/platform engineering).


Nice to have: Coming from Hospitality/Gaming Industry background is plus.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Job Responsibilities: Working closely with other architects, engineers, and developers to implement and maintain a global messaging framework.
This framework will be built on RabbitMQ technologies, and will serve as the standard transport for events, messages, and other types of data across the Topgolf Enterprise.
As such, it will enable things such as, but not limited to, "game portability", "competitive play", and a "loyalty platform". This position is part of a brand new platform team, and will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Enterprise Integrations and Innovation.
