Apply to this posting for Future Opportunities with KLA.PRIMARY PURPOSEThe primary responsibility for a KLA Field Support Engineer: perform repair & maintenance activity inside a semiconductor plant on Bright-Field, Dark-Field, Macro/Micro inspection, Thin Film, Resistivity & Surface measurement, and Optical Metrology equipment. Service activities include modifying, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of highly complex capital equipment at inside customer premises.--- Represent the company to the customer and assume accountability for customer satisfaction with service performance--- Assure optimum quality of system equipment--- Coordinate actions with customers to maximize production time.RESPONSIBILITIES--- Evaluate, analyze, diagnose and fix technical problems--- Repair and modify equipment at customer facility--- Repair some board level problems using standard procedures, oscilloscope, and volt meters--- Repair of system level problems based on KLA technical knowledge and KLA training--- Once Trained, provide guidance and technical assistance to other Engineers as needed --- Up to 20% travel in North America to support other customer facilities, as well as training--- Conduct customer orientation training on all aspects of equipment user applications--- Prepare/Document reports on support activity to customers--- Provide timely billing invoice to customer for service activity.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Level Degree or work experience of 3 years.Preferred Electrical Engineering or Electro-mechanical degree.The company offers a total rewards package that is competitive and comprehensive including but not limited to the following: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities and programs, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.
