Job Description:

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Billing Specialist responsible for managing patient account payments and submitting claims to insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and submit clean claims to various insurance companies
Resolve patient billing complaints and answer inquiries from patients and insurance companies
Evaluate patients' financial status and establish budget payment plans

Required Qualifications and Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be a fully licensed technician in the State of Indiana
Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) license required
Knowledge of medical billing and collections practices
Understanding of basic medical coding and third-party operating procedures
