Job Description:

Duties: Assists with quality assurance initiatives for areas of conversion,

including distribution elections, systematic withdrawal plans, PAS-W, loan

default, vesting, minimum required distributions, automatic enrollment, and

annual increase programs. Performs quality assurance testing of a Defined

Contribution product and 401(K) related application portal within an

onshore and offshore team using Waterfall methodologies. Works with the QA

team to prepare test plans and run test cases in Quality Center. Assists

with planning, designing, and executing testing within a complex project.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Creates test plans, data, procedures, and manual and/or automated

scripts.

• Participates in formal reviews of application designs, business,

and functional requirements.

• Participates in code reviews.

• Writes complete and accurate reports on software problems.

• Identifies and suggests quality process improvements focused on

defect prevention.

• Creates systems and business relevant test cases.

• Ensures test environment reflects business requirements for test

execution.

• Assists in development of in-house test tools.

• Executes manual and/or automated test scripts for most complex

projects.

• Works with project team to establish testing entrance and exit

criteria.

• Ensures execution of project regression test tasks.

• Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

• Works directly with the user community for project definition.

• Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis

for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

• Recommends strategies and methods to improve test plans and test

processes.

• Analyzes and reports test status and results.

• Identifies test issues and reports to project manager and business.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of

experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience performing

quality assurance testing of a Defined Contribution product and 401(K)

related application portal; or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign

education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information

Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related

field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of

experience performing quality assurance testing of a Defined Contribution

product and 401(K) related application portal. Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) performing test planning and test execution

of large complex online Defined Contributions processing applications using

CICS, VSAM, JCL and File aid, and writing SQL queries for data extraction

and manipulation to present test conditions; DE testing Defined

Contributions record keeping applications functions and features, including

application integration points (e.g., 401 related record keeping and

reporting applications), and end-to-end functional, non-functional User

Acceptance and Regression testing within a Waterfall environment; DE

coordinating, coaching, and providing quality control for an onshore-

offshore team of test analysts; and DE using Quality Center to record

requirements, defects, and test plans/cases results and reports using the

Dashboard Module.
